Christmas Concert
Brody's school presented a Christmas Concert last night titled "Christmas In America". All the children did a great job, but I still haven't figured out how the cowboy hats and bandannas fit into the theme?! =)
I am the mom of 2 awesome boys. My youngest son has life-threatening food allergies to milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and shellfish. Both kiddos also have seasonal and environmental allergies, eczema, asthma, and a vision impairment called Ocular Albinism. "Life is a journey, not a destination".
Each year in the US there are approximately 30,000 anaphylactic episodes, involving about 2,000 hospitalizations and 150-200 deaths due to anaphylactic shock.
These pictures only represent a handful of those who have died due to fatal food reactions. To learn more about each individual, please click on the slideshow below. My heart goes out to all of their loved ones!
